For this WOW… weekend, we’re bringing Rosalynn to Vienna for a deep dive into improvisation, isolation and musicality in Solo Jazz. We’ll have three workshops to deepen our understanding of these different aspects of the dance. What exites us about Rosalynn is that her dancing is so unmistakably her own: relaxed, understated, yet full of rhythmic expression and presence.
WOW… Weekend Package: €79 for all three workshops (5 hours).
About Rosalynn
In recent years, Rosalynn Rougerie has made a strong impression on the international Lindy Hop scene, winning and placing at the International Lindy Hop Championships 2024, 25 and 26.
With a background in classical ballet, Hip Hop, Afro jazz, contemporary and traditional Senegalese dance, she brings a broad understanding of movement, muscle tone and isolation to her dancing. Her style is deeply rooted in African and African American dance traditions.
She is involved in Black Lindy Matters, supporting greater representation and visibility of Black dancers within the international Lindy Hop community.

Her teaching encourages dancers to develop their own expression, challenge themselves and enjoy the process.
