About Anders Sihlberg
Anders Sihlberg is an experienced swing dancer, teacher, and performer based in Stockholm, Sweden. He began his dance journey at a young age and refined his craft with the renowned Harlem Hot Shots, a group dedicated to preserving and showcasing traditional swing dance. Anders is deeply influenced by historic dance clips, particularly those of Whitey’s Lindy Hoppers, and has studied their techniques in detail, including acrobatics inspired by Tops and Wilda.
A versatile performer, Anders has participated in numerous shows and projects worldwide, including the acclaimed production „Decades of Jazz“, performed to an audience of thousands in Stockholm’s Vitabergsparken. His teaching style emphasizes a balance of historical knowledge, technical precision, and creativity, making him one of the most sought-after instructors in the global swing dance scene.

Saturday, 18. January
11:00-13:15: Solo Jazz Advanced: Precision and Expression in Jazz Movement and Soft Shoe Tap Dancing
15:30-17:45: Lindy Hop Advanced: How to grow as an advanced dancer
Sunday, 19. January
11:00-13:15: Lindy Hop Intermediate & Int-Adv: Call & Response – Bring that Jazz into your Partnership!
14:30-16:45: Solo Jazz Intermediate+: Building Jazzy Rhythms – Work with Repetitions and Variations
To avoid frustration for yourself and among the participants, please sign up only for classes for which you meet the requirements.
- Basic Lindy Hop moves and rhythms (6-count moves, 8-count moves, Lindy Charleston) can be danced to convenient tempos.
- You feel comfortable with simple routines.
- You regularly attend social dancing events.
- High confidence in basic and intermediate Lindy Hop rhythms and moves.
- Comfortable dancing to a variety of tempos.
- You have been dancing for at least 2 years.

You regularly work on fine-tuning your basics, complex rhythms, and partnering technique.

You are able to interpret different styles of music and express them in your dancing.

Fast tempos don’t scare you.

You have been dancing and practicing regularly for about 3-10 years.
- Participation is by invitation OR:
- You have a record in competitive dancing and/or teaching Lindy Hop.
