Puy

Puy fell in love with Lindy Hop in 2018 and hasn’t stopped moving since. Originally from Spain, she cut her dance-teeth in Latin dances while living in Madrid before finding Lindy Hop. Just before the pandemic, she got into Solo Jazz, and during lockdown, it became a full-blown obsession. Her year in Madrid opened the door to new dance communities and styles, adding even more colour to her dance journey. As a physicist and seismologist — when the Earth shakes, she dances right along with it — she loves social dancing and values rhythm, individuality, and the beauty of different bodies and movement styles. You won’t find her in front of a class, but out on the dance floor, behind the DJ booth, hosting socials, or helping out wherever she’s needed.
